Hello Everyone,
Most of you have heard by now (but in case you haven't) Chili's Restaurant in Yulee is hosting a Family Fun Night for Micah's Place which will be heldon Tuesday, October 6th from 5 - 10 p.m. Chili's will donate 10% ofpurchases made between those hours to Micah's Place, so it is a very nicefundraising opportunity for us. More importantly, it gives us theopportunity to bring awareness to the community that October is DomesticViolence Awareness Month (DVAM). We will have tables set up with lots ofinformation about our services, and staff and volunteers will be there togreet our guests and answer questions. The Fernandina Pirates will bejoining us with their pirate ship float, and we will also have clowns toentertain the children with balloons, face art and giveaways. In order to receive the 10% donation, a special coupon must be presentedwhen paying your bill, and our workers will be there to make sure everypatron receives one. Please join us to show your support of Micah's Placeand the families you are helping to support. And please share thisinvitation with family, friends and neighbors.
