Concours D'elegance brought in $100,000 for hospice
Classic cars and classic racing stars helped boost this year's Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance donation to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida to $100,000.
The concours' foundation presented the check to Community Hospice Thursday, based on proceeds from the mid-March classic car event at and around the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island which featured NASCAR legend Richard Petty, 250-plus classics and antiques and an estimated 18,000 people.
